Description

SO I LOST THE LONG DESCRIPTION I WROTE FOR DIS KBAI DFJKSLDF
be ready for crappy fast description cuz screw this fecking description @3@

Even though I think this drawing is not even worth for DA I uploaded it ;u;. I did that so I can show what I am currently doing ..also the reason why I am not working on stuffs i should draw for DA. This is drawn for an artclass project for school ;u;. I have to draw a lot of drawings in different materials. I am able to draw whatever I want ;u; so here ..I went to draw Alice from Pandora hearts ..I am not forgiving myself for what I have done to mai waifu poor Alice ;n; blehh I screwed up ;n;

This drawing was based on this artwork ;w; gallery.minitokyo.net/view/414… . This is also the reason why the color sheme is not accurate to the actual colors of the character Alice ;u;
pffft the best way to pollute an awesome artwork is to make a crappy version of it yourself </3

I do not own the character Alice ;u; she's mai waifu though
she belongs to the god mangaka Jun Mochizuki-sama ;w;

Material used: pastel crayons ..dfjkldfs they are fecking biches believe me </3 ..so hard to work with them : x
I haven't used them in ages ..and never used them for manga style :'D

Hey, I'm here for Projectcomment's Comment Tag: fav.me/da4hhk0
The tag was "animal" and this was the first picture including an animal no one from ProjectComment commented on yet, so I thought it deserved some attention too.:D (Big Grin)  I hope you don't mind me commenting on an older pic.

It seems like you weren't happy with how this turned out, but I think this is actually a good drawing and you can recognize Alice even with the different color sheme. The bunny on her head is absolutely adorable and the flowers also look pretty good. I really like her hair, but there doesn't seem to be a consistent light source. The lighting on the bunny and the flowers seems pretty consistent with the light coming pretty directly from the front, just don't forget to keep to the same light source for the whole picture. Her skin could use some more contrast, the shadows on it are barely visible, which makes the whole picture look pretty flat. Pastel crayons really are hard to use and this is already pretty good. I'm not sure but maybe using a larger canvas/paper would help you achieve a better quality with them.

The expression fits the drawing's atmosphere but seems almost too innocent for her. I think that is mainly because her eyes have a different, rounder shape. Apart from the hair, anime characters tend to be most easily recognizeable by their eyes, so make sure to get them right. Her anatomy is very stylized, which makes sense considering she's an anime character, but the neck still seems a little too long and her shoulders looks like they aren't angled towards the left as much as the rest of her body.

I like the dynamic feeling from her flowing hair and the different-sized flying flowers. Maybe you could have added a few more or larger ones to make the picture look less empty, but I guess that's a matter of personal taste.

As a general advise, you probably shouldn't let yourself be influenced that much by a different (maybe proffesional) artist's drawing, even if you really like it. Apart from possible copyright issues, you'll likely never be quite satisfied with the results. You did this quite a while ago though, so I probably don't have to tell you anyway.^^'

I hope this was somehow helpful.Meow :3
